I have 6 of these blocks. My mother embroiders quilt blocks then gives them to me to put together. These are intended for my youngest daughter as her wedding gift from my mother. I don't know what to do as the offset blocks. I am open to suggestions PLEASE.

The blocks are 15 inches finished.

Pink or yellow sashing strips and then quilt them with green vines mimicing those embroidered on the blocks :D:D:D
The outer border could have the same with pink and yellow flowers added too.

It's a beautiful block. I'm not very good at this but I like what Amma said.

Holy cow!!! Your DM does really nice work. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions for these beautiful pieces. But you know somebody will come up with something.

I think pink and yellow 1930's reproduction fabric for the sashing with a solid white border around the quilt that is scalloped with a white binding. On the corners in the white border have matching embroidery but have it trail across the top and down the side..only do it on two opposite corners. The squares are very pretty...can't wait to see what you do with it.

I think a wall hanging. Maybe you could find a print that has the same colors in it as her blocks. She does lovely work, please let her know we feel that way!

My first thought was green sashing, but I like Amma's idea.
Maybe a pink or yellow sashing with corner blocks of the opposite (is pink sashing do yellow blocks in the corners or vs) Then do a border in the white with the green ivy stitching and then a green binding. On the corner blocks stitch little hearts.

BTW - Very pretty blocks!

I'm thinking that b/c it's a wedding quilt maybe more white and less color.
They are beautiful, what a nice heirloom she will have!
