I am making an applecore quilt, all hand pieced. Love the fact I can take it anywhere, watch tv with it, drag it along with me.
Whats your favorite take along project?

GFG (1 inch hexies) -- I've resolved to the fact that it will be a multi-year project. ;-)

I started an apple core take along years ago and now it is setting in the bag. I quit taking it. I really need to get it out again.

Appliqué, small hand quilting projects, GFG or small hand pieced quilt. Always good to have something for car riding or waiting room.

I have several "carry along" projects that I enjoy: applique, yo-yos, hexagons, cathedral window rows and "windows", crochet, or tatting. Each of these is very portable and helps pass the time on long trips.

I tend to take knitting along with me. With two young kiddos tagging along I don't like having to worry about whether the needles are put up in a safe place. I put stops on the knitting needles, and sometimes the kiddos are moving faster than me and the knitting doesn't come out of my bag, LOL!
