I've got a big trash bag for of Crown Royal bags, waiting for the drinkers to tell me what pattern to use. They seem to want to use the whole bag and I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

They CR quilt post on the board is a braid pattern, It is really nice.

I too am in search of a pattern as well as the how to's for CR bags-my big concern is washing them- they seem to be made of cheap felt. Please advise. Thanks, Deb

I made a flannel quilt out of Royal Crown bags for a benefit. I don't have alot of knowledge on attaching pictures for my messages so if there is someway I can get you home address I would be more than happy to send you a photo. Then I also made a large over stuffed pillow to go with the quilt as I was given so many Royal Crown bags.

My friend Rose made one. Photo attached. She used the logo as the center of the star and coordinating fabrics (I think she used ferry frost).

My friend and I made one last year. Used the larger bags, and made 4"x4" squares. You need to use Pellon backing on the felt. I have attached a picture. We used yellow flannel on the front and purple flannel for the back. The quilt really was wonderful, but don't think I want to try another one anytime soon.

I have seen them where they just use the CR in the middle, they are really beautiful too. Great quilts.
