I made a block and it's a little off, as in the inner square is a little wonky. I would redo it, but I really like it the way it turned out, but it's for a swap, so I'm not sure. any opinions? Just an add, the actual block is the correct size (12.5 x12.5) it is the starting inner piece that is a little off

Coming from a hostess, my opinion would be keep it for yourself and make a new one.. After my swap I got quite a few, not-so-happy, swappers that felt that what they rec'd should of been perfect.. But that's just from my experience..

if it was for me, Id love it.. the wonky-er the better..

Sorry Im no help..

yes you are a help, I don't want to post the picture in case the person getting it sees it. even if I redo , it would be from the same fabric

I agree with the first comment- you like it a little off, so keep that one for yourself. Make another one to give away.

Thats why I don't do swaps because not only am I NOT perfect, but neither are the swappers that expect perfection!

Good luck with whatever you choose!

it is disappointing for one to get a swap block that is not near perfect in its workmanship. What would be your reaction if every one you got did not meet the size requirements and were nearly impossible to put into a quilt.
Do it over and correct the errors.

I also think you are a help to the original poster. Some people are more fussy than others.
I also love wonky but I'm not in the swap :D

k I think I will make another block and send her both blocks, that way she doesnt have to use the wonky one if she doesn't like it.
