I would piece it and use it for your "humble block." As I continuously have to remind myself..only God is perfect. Just wish I could take that more to heart sometimes!

Okay... That is what I am going to try. Turns out I made a secondary mistake on the first piece I cut. Not I am counting the inches prior to cutting to check myself. I'll let you know how it turns out. :-)

I sewed it together and it turned out perfect. You can barely tell I resewed it together. One of the pieces was going to seam and seam so I trimmed on the other side. Now that I am all cut out and mistakes fixed, I am ready to sew, sew, sew!! :)

I never empty my trash fabric bin until I'm through with the project I'm working on. I have pieced so many tiny pieces on to a miss cut to make it fit. No one can tell and only another quilter with their nose in my quilt would know.

I asked my husband to take a look at it since he doesn't have that "quilting" eye. He said it looked fine, so I knew all was well. I am my worst critic.

I would definitely just piece it.....especially if the quilting will hide it anyway.

I had done needle turn applique on 12 12" blocks. The backgrounds were done in light beige scraps that I had on hand. When I was squaring them up to piece together, I accidentally cut one side too short!!!!!! Boo Hiss! I of course didn't want to redo the applique so I pieced the part I had cut off. I haven't finished the quilt, but I am sure it's not going to show after it's all done. If it does, that's okay too.

Just piece it and be happy!!!
