I received my newsletter today from Quiltworx. In the newsletter, Judel announced that Quiltworx teamed up with Cut Loose Press to provide affordable, quick block-type patterns aimed toward teaching beginner and intermediate quilters the concept and techniques behind Judy's patterns and how to adapt foundation units into their own quilts. The prices appear to be very reasonable, from what I read. Have any of you tried this concept? Your thoughts?

Cut Loose Press is part of Checkerboard Distributors. You have to be a retailer to buy the patterns and one of their buyers to watch the videos. Checkerboard has a great newsletter explaining all the new tools, books, patterns, and fabric. It's free to sign up.
