Barb...does your quilt shop have any more of this fabric? It's BEAUTIFUL!!
I can send you a check, along to include the money for shipping. Let me know.
Please excuse me as I step upon my soap box for a minute. I know the postal workers are very busy (but not as busy as they once were before the internet, huh). It seems that when a package is damaged as yours was, that they would have figured out a way to repackage -- even slip it into a clear plastic envelope or something) so that the package reaches it's destination "safely." Goodness knows, we pay enough postage.

What probably happened is that they ran it through a piece of machinery that they shouldn't have instead of handling it manually.

The valentine package that I sent returned to me in terrible condition. I had to re-package it before sending it back.

OK, I'm done. I love your fabric. Thanks for listening. G
oh, but Gail you are so right. I get some of my meds by mail, and one time I got my package inside another 'bag', and all the pills were just loose in there with original torn up pkging. Now, all these years later, I would never have taken any of this medicine. I would talk to postmaster and called pharmacy etc. but live and learn. I just let it go at the time. It could have been handled better than this. That's why they are bonded and make big bucks. i know, Sil works for them. :D of course I'm not talking about the whole kit and caboodle, just whoever dropped, broke my bottle, and stuffed in a bag etc. :?

Terri, I scoured my stash looking for your cobalt...I have 1 FQ that "maybe" would work but it also has a green leaf in it. I'll be going to LQS when I get the IRR centers in...I'll be happy to look there for you. I'll also keep my eyes open as I finish working on that shop hop...no I'm not done yet...

GailG...I agree, it should have been put in another envelope by them. I have had damaged mail come thru before and was always in a clear envelope by the post office. This time, it wasn't. Had it been a HUGE piece of expensive fabric and the fabric damaged, you can bet I would have been down at the post office raising the roof!

I agree with Camillacamilla. Not sure there's any place on this globe that doesn't have access to the Internet. They wouldn't necessarily have to fly a long time to get to you. Better safe than sorry with any address or real name.
