This is true, I just had my tetanus shot when I went into the hospital last April.
I went in for chest pains and came out with a shot.......lol

Do you know if this is standard procedure? I was in the hospital earlier this year with chest pains. They stuck me so many times I don't remember if I got a tetanus shot!

I don't know if it's routine. But they had asked for some odd reason and I opened my big mouth and said my last shot was about 12 yrs ago....LOL

Yes, let it go, and also jump back to avoid getting stuck with scissors, needle, etc.

i often catch myself thinking of putting something down quick [in the wrong place]. now i take extra time to put it [insert object here] in a safe place. in the long run, preventing accidents is a time saver

OUCH!!!! Now that really had to hurt. Hope your leg is better. I put a hand towel over my legs so I can catch all my threads and pins that I drop.

Yes, I tend to do the same thing. In the old days, the girls used to catch things by spreading their skirts and the boys used to clamp their legs. Goes to show how fashion dictates our methods. Hope the wound is healing well.

Just dropped my 3" sissors from the ironing board when cutting thread and strings from a quilt. Fell between my little toe and next one. Really hurt but sucked it up and went on. Felt moisture and yes it was red!! Happened about a week ago and it is still bruised and sore. No stitches, but it fell point down. We all need to be careful with our toys.
