I am so excited, I finally ordered one of the two books I have wanted for ages on dating fabrics!

Surprisingly, It is called, "Dating Fabrics A Color Guide 2 1950-2000"

Do you have the first one as well? Loved that one even more.

Not yet Jan, the first one was on backorder so I went for this one first. I cannot wait to get the other one too. I am really wanting to become more fluent in dating fabrics and quilts of the time periods as well. Paducah is on my list in a few more years.

This is what happens when you are too busy to date men....you date fabric!!!! --I have this book and it is very helpful when I find vintage quilts at yard sales. It amazes me how 100 year old fabric survives so well, as I often see tops make around the turn of the last century.
