Found the problem. Need a new pedal. A piece broke off inside. So will be going to find one tomorrow,

Cause that's the only time we notice them! Good thing you have a back up.

I had just the opposite yesterday. In the middle of winding bobbins for the longarm, foot pedal quit working. Had to pick it up and shake it a couple of times before it would start again.

One on my vintage New Home did that a couple weeks ago when I turned on the power strip. Hasn't done it since. Guess it would not hurt to take the foot pedal apart and check for dust bunnies.

YEA !!!! I am back in business. Exchanged the foot peddle with my other machine and now I can finish my BOM .
