Started this project a while ago when I was feeling a little more creative. Added selvedge edges to the front but then got stuck creatively. Any ideas on how to finish this/cute it up would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You are at good place to create you own design. Try using decorative buttons, decorative stitiches around cuffs and bottom of jacket. Use applique to add interest or dash of color.
Think out of the box.
