Smile design wall

I have been reading everyone's posts on design walls for the past year and never really took it seriously that you could put the felt up and then the blocks would magically stick. Well, I was recently given many yards of 72 inch wide felt (some I used as batting and the quilt washed just fine). I decided to pin some on a blank wall I have with just push pins and GUESS WHAT????? My blocks stuck to the felt and have been in place since Monday! I am a believer now. Thanks to all who posted on design walls!

Glad it worked for you. I use a tablecloth with a felt back. I love having a design wall.

My design wall is only a flannel backed table cloth but it is a nice addition to my sewing nook. Glad to hear your quilt with felt batt stayed nice after washing. Did it shrink much?
