I purchased a "Block" - (Hello Kitty Stenciled 8 1/2" x 11") and want to use it as the center of a quilt. I have other Hello Kitty fabric to go with it, but the Block being retangle shape, where should I start? ANY suggestion will be GREATLY appreciated. Many THANKS in advance. The Block can be viewed on Ebay by entering "Hello Kitty Block Printed on Cotton". The pattern I have planned on using is "Warm Wishes" or something like that, but, first to square the "BLOCK"?

maybe instead of the traditional 3x3 which gives you square, go 3x4? or maybe use smaller blocks in coordinating colors, or sashing around the center block to build it to workable dimensions?

Center the 8 1/2" X 11" design in the center of a 12" block and see how you like it. Or play with adding a fabric on ones side (smaller strip sewn to the plain fabric) and center the kitty on the rest :D:D:D
