a few weeks ago my sister emailed and said she had a gc to spend at the fat quarter shop but didn't have enough in her cart, so did I want anything. I showed her a couple of fat quarter sets I liked but told her I would pay her back. As usual she'll have none of that. So anyway I told her I liked the blue one better (there was a blue and green-same price-riley blake's sugar and spice line). Today I get a box in the mail and here's what's in it:
3 Judy Neimeyer patterns
extra foundation papers for printing
purple thang (what do you use this for?)
add-a-quarter ruler
2 jelly rolls, one of which is a batik
2 charm packs
and BOTH of the fat quarter sets
Plus a few scrapbook magazines

My sister sends me fabric care packs all the time. I so lucky (and spoiled) to have such a great sis!!

It's good to be spoiled! I use the "Purple Thang" to help me remove foundation paper from the back of my blocks.

That is so cool. I had a sister that was like that but shes gone now. Her and I were the best of friends. And she would always give me stuff. Not long before she had died, she started quilting. Shes been gone almost 11 years now, and her husband still won't depart with any of her stuff. But maybe one day he will. :)

I really want to do something for her but I don't know what. She is a way better quilter and sewer than I am and probably faster too. She also knits, which I can't do (she made my dd the most adorable lettuce edge leg warmers). I need to think of something though...
