Is there such a thing as WASH AWAY FUSIBLE WEB? I swear I saw a program where the web was sewn to the applique pieced, right sides together and then turned right side out. At that point ironed to the background and hand appliqued down. When washed the web disappeared. Was this just a senior moment???

there are a number of fusable interfacings that wash away. solvy makes a number of different ones.

I saw a woman on ? well now I'm having a senior moment. PBS, the woman who does heirloom sewing, anyway this past Saturday she had a guest that was showing "her line" of stabilizers and one of them was a washaway fusible. sorry can't recall her name either but at least you know it wasn't a dream
