When I get the glue from the wonder under on my ironing board cover, I iron a used softerner sheet over it and it removes it. Maybe that would work for you. Might have to use more than one. Make sure it is a used sheet ....Good luck

I got it off the bottom of my iron with the cleanser you use for ceramic cooktops. My grocery kept not having it and I got tired of waiting. Worked like a charm. I didn't know it would come out of fabric :oops: or I wouldn't have thrown away some of my booboos! :) :)

Thank you, Mary, I'm going to try that in the morning for my ironing board cover. After reading this the other day what do you think I did....yup, ironed some small train patches to the baby quilt and got wunder under on the ironing board pad. sheesh
I have to 'fess up to ironing the stuff that's real real sticky and not to be sewn to the printed side of the fabric once. I now have a partial roll if anyone wants it. I tried giving it to friends and they all said the same thing YUCKY! So it's still taking up space until I can have a yard sale this spring. I'll give it to the first person that buys something. Heat n Bond, that's the stuff. Never ever again.........
How's that for dumb, Mrs. Mel??? I take the cake, right???

Removing Fused Interfacing
To remove interfacing that has been fused in place, hold a steam iron over interfacing for 5 - 10 seconds. Immediately peel off the interfacing. If it is still adhered, set the iron on the interfacing, but do not use pressure. To remove any fusing agent that remains on the fabric, cover it with a damp, lightweight fabric scrap and press. Peel off while warm. Continue with new scraps until all the adhesive can be removed by sponging the area with rubbing alcohol--but be sure the fabric or dye will not be affected.

Mimisharon: The 'Heat 'n Bond' brand is what I was using too. I guess I am just going to have to be careful in the future. It's never a good idea to work with the stuff when you are tired. (They should put a warning label on the stuff!!!) :wink:

You all have me nervous now. I did a Christmas project kit thing that came with Steam a Seam. I thought it was too stiff to sew through. I'm making a sampler and two blocks have applique. Grandmother's Fan and Dresden Plate. I am now nervous to go pick up wonder under. I just hope I don't mess it up!

This happened to me, I will admit it; it was a while ago, but I think I put some wax paper over it and ironed over the wax paper and it came off. Wasn't a big area. I hope this helps, guess it won't hurt to try. (I think it was Steam a Seam2 not wonder under)
