Have you seen it yet?
Donīt get the mag, but funnily enough our Group here in Spain did a paper piecing project and I was so thrilled with the results I am thoroughly hooked (AGAIN). So I searched for more patterns on the web site for McCalls and I found that pattern for the cactus flower and it is beautiful, I also found others, so its worth looking on the site and guess what their FREE :D :D

It's very pretty, BUT, I can't believe they'd instruct to cut all those pieces!! It'd be MUCH simpler done in strips!

That fabric was just gorgeous, especially the border fabric. It's almost worth paying the whole $$$$$$ and get the fabric too.

I've started on this cactus quilt yesterday. Here's 2 of the squares so far. I'm going to make it like the one in the magazine, but I changed the colors.

Oh, it took me 6 hours to cut all those pieces. There are 805 pieces! Wow!
