I figure that I could afford to test it out for that price...on scrap of course...

i've used lots of them- the purple disappears when the glue dries- and it washes out just fine- i use them all the time for lots of different things- wrapping clothesline, paper piecing, any time i need a touch of glue- i prefer glue sticks because of the control i have over where it goes- and it never runs out side my lines.

I haven't had problems with the purple coming out (if there was a problem the parents would have a fit since it would not come out of the kids clothes.)

The glue goes on purple and should dry white.

I am a principal at an elementary school, and lots of little ones use it, and they somehow get it on their clothes. I have not seen any child with purple stains from the glue.......so I think it would be okay.
