...because I just received ANOTHER hand-made quilt from an older relative! That's two now. It's a quilt that has lots and lots of different blocks and the blocks are labeled with the name. I will take pictures of it soon. There's just something about the quilts from my great grandmother and now great aunt that give me chills.

That's so cool! It's the history behind them, the story, that makes them so special. All the love gone into it makes it so much more.

Oh, they really are treasures, aren't they. I agree with Blue -- for me, it's the history, the love that goes into making a quilt, and part of the past that's here now. I hope to be able to do the same for my children and my children's children.

Can't wait to see the pictures!
