I can't help myself. Lots of ooh and aah-worthy quilts out there.

I have always taken the comments as the greatest compliments on my hard work. Might not come across as sincere when a child is doing it but me having kids I can be a little more patient (or have learned to ignore easier) when it comes to kids. Anyway, I have heard very sincere oohs and ahhs from kids and they seem like they are more genuine because of their innocence and just comment on what they like.

Sometimes when people gush over something I have done, I get embarrassed and self-conscious. I might say don't ooh and ahhh just to get the attention off of me. Just a thought.

I awe and ohh out loud when I look at the beautiful quilts on the QB. At first my DH use to come over to see what I was looking at. Now he just ignores me when I'm on the QB.

I try not to do it in public, but I'm afraid a few sneaked out at the quilt show.

I ooh and awww outloud about everything, not just quilts. I make sure that the person knows that I appreciate the beauty in whatever it is. . .
