Just wanted to share:

My 6 year old came with me to quilt BOM club and someone held up a beautiful quilt and I said aw and oh and he said awe and ohh many times.
The lady said to stop that!

We got home and I was looking at pictures on the Quilting Board and apparently was awe and oh outloud - He came and and said "Mom you are not suppose to awe and ooh over quilts!"

How many awe and oh outloud when they see something they like?
Just had to share this funny with you.

I ooh and awe over quilts all the time. That lady sounds like a grouch.

I don't understand why she said to stop...I hear people do it all of the time.

Sounds like it was the repetitive 'awe and ohh' she couldn't handle. Must not be around too many small quilters.
