I have made 4 and the main reason I have made them is cost. I can't afford a LA for every quilt and my hand quilting is not the greatest. I'm on my 5 hand quilted (bed size) quilt. I guess I do a little of several quilting options:)

I have only made 2 and those were made cause we went to Alaska one summer and I worked on them in the RV. I pieced and hand quilted 12 blocks and when I got home I attached them. It is not my favorite way but it kept my hands busy in the evenings.:)

I've made several of them. Mostly for charity projects as they go together so quickly and I think they look nice. I do enjoy making them or I wouldn't do it.

I have made a small one in a class but I didn't like the way the teacher had us finish the edges. So I will have to try a different method. It's nice to work on small pieces at a time and then - like magic - you are done.

I've never made one, and don't have the urge to. My mom did one and she hated it, mostly because she didn't like how the back turned out. maybe she was doing it wrong, I don't know, but I like to hand quilt so small 12 inch blocks don't really fit in my 18 inch hoop. But I say, whatever floats your boat!

I've never made one, but I am really curious about them and would like to try one sometime. Do you like how they look where they are sewn together on the front? I love the idea of the ease of quilting small sections and have seen some beautiful FMQ done on QAYG. Love to hear more input and thoughts!
