Default Do you ever combine machine embroidery on your quilts?

Seven years ago I bought an embroidery machine and I really enjoy using it. The first quilt I put designs on was my very first Crazy Quilt. I really enjoyed making it. Take a peek...

I also did a baby quilt using vintage hankies and combined some vintage designs on that too. I need to make the photo smaller so it will show up here.

The back is very light weight courdory that already had red roses embroidered on it!! What a "find" that was!!

I don't have an embroidery machine but if I did I would combine it with quilting too. Your quilt looks great!

Very creative! I think it is a wonderful combination. It brings the past (crazy patch) up to the present (embroidery). Well done and nice find on the backing!

Check out these threads. There are a lot of us here who do combine embroidery and quilting.
