I love grey! I use it with white tones, pure white, looks great with black and pinks and greens and purples and yellow. yea, I like grey. its one of those colors I used to just think meant drab. till I started mixing it in.

A while back I made a black, gray and white quilt (with a pop of red for color). The response of friends was so positive, I started collecting blacks and grays to make more. Currently I have a draw full of Black, Gray, and White (but I haven't made another quilt with these colors - the fabrics are beautiful though and there's always tomorrow. :>).

I went out and located a lot of different grays for a special quilt for my son's in-laws. I have a few other grays that I have collected just because I liked them.

I just checked, I have 2 2" strips of gray in my scrap bag I got from somebody. I've never bought any gray myself.

I do have gray and I am using it with yellow and green right now. I found some fabric from the 50's with grey, green, yellow and white...I love it and am using it as the basis for the colors. It will really be pretty. I am about to start cutting it out this week!

I love greys When I see them I buy as much as I can -greys and bowns are still hard to find around here. Hancocks have a nice selection of both but JoAnns only have a few nasty shades of brown and the only greys are sheer or linings but Jo's will order a bolt if I buy the whole bolt in advance But my fav Wally store is real good about getting colors in that their customers want

I have some gray's now. My coworker likes gray and I am making her a quilt with gray, red, purple. The gray makes it very striking.

Grey is one of my 'looking for' colors when I hit Fabric Depot in July. I have very few real greys--they all appear a little on the bluish side or more black than grey. The few very small pieces I have are being used in house blocks for roofs.

I'm from the Buckeye state Ohio, so the school colors are Scarlet and Gray. I always have different shades of gray in my stash.
