Do You Have an Avante HQ 18 Long Arm Quilting Machine

I just purchased the above machine and wanted to find a group of people in "metro Atlanta" who met like a quilting guild, but was unable to find one. So, I am asking if you have the Avante Long Arm Machine, live in Metro Atlanta and are interested in getting together with others and learn, teach and do show and tells, please let me know. I really would like this so I can learn to use my machine better. We know they have classes in Utah, but they are quite expensive for people like me who are just starting out. Thanks for reading.

Well, I have an Avante. But I'm a long way from Atlanta unfortunately. If you end up going the virtual route, I'd love to be part of a group using & learning this machine. I've had mine about 2 years, and still learn new stuff all the time.

I have one, but I'm not anywhere close. Did you register your machine? HandiQuilter has a lot of info on their site, including a forum. You might want to post there too as you would have a much more targeted audience. I would also use their site to look up the distributors in your area and contact them.

There are several HQ educators throughout the country. Maybe, try to call HQ and see if a local dealer has a group. We have a great group out here in the Phoenix area.
Have fun quilting! If it isn't fun, you will miss a lot.
