How about breaking a spring clothespin and using one of the pieces as that 'wooden iron' for hand pressing seams. Works great.
For example

I use my seam ripper as a stiletto when I'm sewing

I also use my Kwik Klip tool to help open up seams before pressing. It has saved me many a burnt finger when that seam folds over while I'm trying press it open.
I use old tooth brushes , cut off head and sharpen one end to a point and shave down the other end flat on both sides to use in flattening seams.. it works for me

I need a picture of this!! Could you please?

I use Q tips to poke down in the space beside and under the bobbin holder and catch gobs of thread fur that wander around down there under the plate, and get packed in the teeth, springs etc. J

Found a new one tonight ... a toothbrush!

Can be used for a finger pressing tool .... and the brush is great for brushing away those pesky little threads after doing reverse stitching!

I use the pampered chef tool to caulk. Makes a beautiful thin bead. Shocked the hubby.

Don't have it yet but Nancy Lee Chong has a led light that she wears around her neck for applique and I have been looking for something like that to use as a light so I could read in bed. My night light is just not enough.
