The one that has some sort of mark in the middle and lets you draw a 1/4" line on either side?

Is it accurate? Do you like it?

Should I buy one? lol

I have a friend who has recently bought two - 8in and 12in, especially for her half square triangles. Two squares together, draw three lines diagonally, and it's dead accurate.

i use mine all the time. it depends on what type of quilting you do- some people make lots of diagonal seams/ 1/2 squares- triangles- the need is there- others do not have use for it as often. if you do make the type of blocks it is good for- it is worth the $$ in my book- i bought mine about 6 years ago- at first didn't use it much- now use it often

Drawing ONE diagonal line and using a 1/4" foot is the norm. I don't see why you should have to draw THREE lines. Micro-management?

Yes...I was using it last night making HSTs. I really like it. However I hate HSTs!

I have one and I use it quite a bit, especially right now as I am marking a quilt for handquilting and it is invaluable for marking quarter-inch quilting lines.

I have two sizes. You need to make sure that when you are drawing your outside lines that you angle in so that the line is up against ruler and when you are sewing if you can't stay on the line stay inside by a thread. The center line is your cutting line. This ruler is really great for half square triangles and flying geese (the no-waste way). When doing the geese; I normally always stay just inside the line to play it safe
