Default Do you have a sewing machine case on wheels?

Which one do you have? What do you like/dislike about it?

Yes, I have a Tutto case. It's very sturdy and not cheap, but it's great. Lots of storage and easy to get to lay flat for storage.

I have the largest one from Nancy's Notions. Works great, has nice storage areas.

I have one and I do not care for it at all. I find it awkward and heavy to lift in and out of the back of my SUV. I prefer to just carry my machine in its hard case. However, the only place I take my machine is to the LQS and there is ample parking right by the door into the classroom so I do not have to carry it very far. I guess it just depends on how far you need to carry your machine.

I have a couple. The 1st one I got I actually used one of the 40% off Hobby Lobby coupons and bought a wheeled case that was sold for scrapbooking. It actually has held up great, and the wheel base is wider than some others making it less likely to tip sideways when I am wheeling it.
The only thing is, of course I still am still lifting it, in and out of the car, etc. So the "heavy" factor is still there. But all in all it's been a big help when I am going to my quilt group.
I have heard great things about the Tutto cases, and as Candace said, they're pricey...maybe they run sales on them sometimes...

I have several, one for each machine, because the machines are all different sizes. I put the machine in the back seat (buckled in) in the back seat and put the empty case on the other side of the seat . When I get where I'm going, I take out the case and then lift the machine into it. Very little lifting involved that way...

Yes, I got it from Joanne's with a 50% off coupon and a gift card that paid all but the tax. It was one of the best gifts I've ever received. It's very roomy and lightweight (a big plus when you're lifting a Bernina).

Got mine from Joann's large enough to carry my Janome, and everything else (if paced carefully) I will need for a class, except my long rulers and my larger cutting mat. I made a bag for them that has a long strap to carry them over my shoulder. Only need one trip from car to class. Before my rolling case it usually took 2 or more trips from car to class.

I use a luggage carrier and it has bigger wheels. I put my machine in the case it came with and use a bungie to strap around. Works good.
