Default Do you know the name of this block???

I'm wanting to make a scrap quilt with it. It is hanging behind Jenny on the video when she's telling how to make applique labels. Love the quilt and am hoping someone knows the block.

Thanks in advance

On Blockbase, it is called Danish Stars. A chunkier version is called The Kite Quilt.

Just in case someone else wants to make this quilt, I found out that it is also called Arkansas Snowflake. Here is a link to a free foundation pattern to use.

Love the Arkansas snowflake quilt link. I think it could be done with a Tri Recs ruler as well as paper piecing.

I don't think so. Unless I am looking at it wrong...it would then have to be a 9 patch with center square being a quarter square block matching the colors of each tri rec block. Jenny's way or PP is a better way, JMHO....actually, I have an antique one that is done with the " dreaded" Y seam......I do want to do a one too - haven't decided what technique to use though....
