I am trying to make this block. I don't know what the name of the block is. I found the templates for it but can't get it together right. Does anyone know the name of it?
Thanks for any help. Elaine

I don't know the name of it, but I would tackle it as rows of HST's and whole squares. Get each row done, then join the rows.

They would be 2" finished size squares and HSTs if you're doing a 12" block.

Or you could eliminate a couple of seams by making the rectangles on the sides 4" x 2" finished (4 1/2" x 2 1/2" unfinished) and the center 4" finished square.
