Thread: Do you know of a quilt retreat anywhere near South Mississippi?

By near, I'm talking about 200 or so miles. I am very interested in going away somewhere to quilt. I'm not too interested in classes or a structured schedule.

Check with any guilt guilds or groups in your area. Many groups have private retreats once or twice a year. Members generally get first slots but non-members can sometimes participate. Check with any LQS shops. They sometimes have sew-ins and retreats for their customers.

This place is beautiful. You have to work up your own group or find one to tag along with. (Well, I think that's the way it works.) It only opened in the fall of 2008 and one lady in MQA has been there seven times.
