EEEEK! You are brave. I tested them on some cotton scraps and the ink does reappear when it gets cold, which makes me wonder - is it safe? What is it doing to the threads of my quilt?
I only gift my quilts and never ship any so they aren't exposed to freezing temps. If they ever do happen to reappear I'll just wash and dry again whereas the yellow chalk wouldn't come out no matter what I tried :cry:

I think you missed my point. I wasn't referring to the fact that the ink reappears when it gets cold, I was referring to the fact that the ink obviously stays in the fabric, and we have no way of knowing if it's archival and safe. I'm not saying YOU shouldn't use it, feel free if you want. I'd rather not risk it. :)
