Do you use your library to get quilting books, videos?

I am thinking of joining a local library. I was wondering who belongs to a library.

I do as well, although the books that our library has are really old one. They don't seem to get any of the newer ones in, maybe not enough demand for them, I don't know.

I love the library!! Always have. I check out all kinds of books. My local library doesn't always have the quilting book I might be looking for, but I can request from the whole system which covers a large area. I can usually get what I am looking for. Then after looking at the book I can better judge whether or not I want to buy it, or not.

Absolutely. I even request ones I want that aren't in my local library and they get them from other libraries in town. :) :)

Yes, the library is a good source. Once in a while I'll find a book that I really like so I look for it on Amazon.com. If it's not available new I can sometimes find it used, which is in about the condition same as a library book.

Yes all the time, most of the books are a little old but all the mags are up to date, and for two dollars I can request from other libraries in NZ, no videos though, all books and mags are free from my local one.

yep! Our library has a partnership with about 6 other libraries in the state too. All I have to do is put the book on hold and they ship it to my library.
