Thanks JenniePenny, it does kind of look like it somewhat. I'll pass that on to my cousin also. I'm going to see if my DH can draft it for me, he's pretty good at doing things like that. Then I can figure out what size pieces I need to make the quilt.

some of the barn quilts around here are often just nice pictures, not necessarily quilt blocks at all.

that's irritating in a way i can't quite put my finger on....

i like that one though and i bet it is a block!

Cool block! I don't have a name for it, but I did draft it in EQ7. I'm including a JPG and a PDF for paper piecing. The PDF includes a quarter block; the finished block size is 12".

Thank you so much LyndaOH! You just saved me a whole lot of work.....I really need to get EQ7, but I usually don't need anything from it, I can find (most of the time) what I need by looking here on the QB or googling it.

Hi TacoMama, good to see you on here too. Are you going to the Floriani seminar at Willow Tree Fabrics on Nov. 14? Please PM me. I use a lot of my embroidery designs in my quilt blocks.

Would Be easy to paper piece . You would have to make it in eighths into quarters into the whole block. Draw it out and paper piece it would be my suggestion.
