A friend of mine made it years ago for me. Tried to locate it via Google...no luck. Would love to make a label with the correct name included.

There are 16 points

You might try looking at quilterscache.com. She has about 59 pages with a couple of dozen to the page. It could be in there. Just a thought.

The closest thing I can find to it in the EQ7 library is "octagon star" but it's not quite it.

I looked in "1000 Great Quilt Blocks" and couldn't find it in there. I don't think it's a "traditional" block.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I had already visited www.quilterscache.com and couldn't locate it. I suspect you are right quiltilicious, it could be non-traditional.
