Default Does Anyone Know...?

I'm looking for the name of this pattern...does anyone know what it might be? My nephew informed me that this is the quilt he wants for his graduation Of course he will get it!

It looks like a string quilt using the center strip in green and all the rest of the strips in black and white. No pattern needed, just a muslin or paper foundation to sew the strips to. You can make the block any size you want, I would probably make them 9" or 10" finished size.

I think you can just sew three strips of fabric together and cut with a triangle ruler. Just keep flipping the ruler so you cut from the top of the sewed strip once, then the bottom of the sewed strip for the next triangle. And add a strip of green to the bottom of each triangle. Or put the four triangles together and use green as sashing. Either way you get the same finished quilt square.

She links back to this one for inspiration -

She just left out the green in her blocks. It's just a form of a string quilt.

Here is a video to make the block. Just add the green strip or sashings to each block when you put the 4 triangles together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVd9CfUK5gU

Looks like 3 Dudes to me, using a b&w jelly roll, set on point with a narrow lime sashing.

Looks like a string quilt to me. Start collecting those black & white prints.
