Default Does anyone know where to find Farm Journal patterns?

I'm looking for one called "Three Cheers" by the Farm Journal. I found the pattern in Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns. I did a search but didn't come up with anything specific that listed the different patterns. Chris

According to this website, the pattern was published in a 1942 issue of the Farm Journal:

Not sure which issue, though. Sometimes these vintage mags turn up on Amazon or eBay, in which case you might be able to email the seller to ask if Three Cheers is in that issue.

I'll look on Amazon but I emailed the Quilter's Hall of Fame that was listed on the blog. Maybe they might know! Thanks so much for your help, Chris

Here's a picture of the block from one of their old pattern catalogs. It is on page 15.

It looks like it would be easy to draft out either with good old graph paper or EQ. PM me if you want to me to do this on graph paper. I don't have EQ.

The link says the images are Farm Journal and Farmer's Wife Blocks. Could these have been reproduced in the recent Farmer's wife quilt book?

You could buy the book, or check it out of the library, or borrow it on interlibrary loan to see.

From the link above, this is the best I could come up with from the picture. Hope it helps.
