Default Does anyone know where to get this pattern for a lone star log cabin?

Hello everyone: I am looking for a pattern for a quilt like the one in the picture. It is a lone star set on point surrounded by log cabin blocks. Anyone know where to order the pattern? Thanks for your help!

Linda

Thanks Katie. Can you send me a link? I can't seem to find it. I found a Broken Star Log Cabin for 8.98.

Here is a close up of the centre of the block. I sure hope someone has seen this pattern somewhere! I would love to make it for my brother.

That pattern is in this book. But the pattern has a mistake in it. I found that on face book.

I just did a search and found nothing.... frustrating. All of the searches brought up the star made with log cabins. The Amish site I visited had some beauties made and for sale.... I think that you need a lone star pattern then add your log cabins to it. I would count the logs in your picture for the amount needed and figure things backwards.... start with the logs then figure the lone star. I know more work... OR you can ask someone with EQ if they could do it in their software...

Thanks Luann!! This is exactly the pattern I was looking for! I just ordered it from Amazon. Where did you find the mistake on Facebook? I searched the book title and the quilt name on facebook but came up empty. I'm going to make it in brown, blue and cream - manly colours. I just finished a girly one for his wife that she loved. Thanks again! Linda

Thanks Sharon. I have EQ7, but haven't had time to figure out how to draft patterns. I'm always too busy piecing or quilting on my longarm!! Luann found the pattern for me from Amazon and I've ordered it. Can't wait to get started on it! (maybe I can play with my EQ7 while I'm waiting for it to come.....)
