Remember them well.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Not only do I remember them, I used them at the 1st job I ever had at a fabric store!
I remember them as well. Our JC Penny had one. I was a kid as well.
Sure do remember that., Wish that was back as the good fabric then for so little.
Oh you took me down memory lane. As you were describing it I too was describing it in my mind. Then I remember her snipping the fabric with machine before ripping it. I'm so glad I was born when I was because it's so much fun to reminisce.
Thanks for the reminder.

I do remember one at Murphy's (5&10). of course I don't know a name, but it was like a meter. I was a kid at that time . how neat to remember stuff like that.
Seems like I remember something like that! But, it was hard to see it from my stroller. hehehe! Just kidding. I do remember one but it was hidden in the recesses of my mind.

Remember the stores that had a mezzanine? We had a nice discussion about the Measuregraph, pneumatic and cable canister transport systems, and mezzanines back in June, if anyone wants to reminisce more.
The thread was called The Good Old Days - Remembering Old Fabric Shops and there were a lot of old bygone store names brought up.
