I went to a garage sale today, and found one of those looms to weave rag rugs with fabric strips. I've always wanted to learn to do that. Its got half a rug on it now, so it will be easy to do the first one, LOL, but I need to know how to start? Anyone make them? Probaly be a great spot to use my scrap strips!
    I'd appreciate any advice!!!!

No, no instruction book. Just the loom with a half finished rug and a bag of strips. It was cheap, so if I cant figure it out, I'm not out much, but I do like the rugs!

Have only done hooked and latch hook rugs, but would love to learn to do weave rag and braided style rugs. Maybe then I would also learn to use my scraps.

Don't know what kind of loom you have, but here's a link to a video. Maybe it will help

Only knitted rag rugs, good luck. I love the rag rugs, so thick and comfy.
