My daughter bought me a sewing machine, at a yard sale late Sept/Oct. Does anyone have a singer Touch & Sew model 600E. It has a varity of different disk. If anyone has this machine, could I be a burden/pain in the?????. I have ??'s, and maybe I could get some pointers on useing it. I don't have the machine. However, I've heard it's been advised that you don't put your email address on a thread for your own security. It's easy enough for people to just PM you. Good luck getting answers to your questions.

Why don't you look on the internet for a user manual for your machine..I was able to download one for the machine I have..It may help you get used to using the machine

Don, if I remember correctly, the 600E is one of the 600 line that has metal rather than plastic gears inside. Some of the 600 series did have plastic gears and suffered because of it. I had one for awhile and then sold it, prob shouldn't have. I'll bet if you asked the question on the Vintage Machine forum, you'll get more info. Good luck, you have a goodie!
