I made my Aunt a quilt from scraps of fabrics that she had given me and when I took it up to her my Uncle said wheres mine...; ( (They have separate sleeping qtrs due to health issues) he is so cute...almost 90 and has had 4 hip replacements and now his memory is going...he was such an awesome Uncle...they have a beautiful farm and I have some of the best memories as a child there. He wanted a blue quilt...its very simple 10 inch squares, on the binding I use the heart stitch and flannel for the back and stipple FMQ'd it on my Jamone. I was able to get 15 yards of this blue fabric for 12.99 so glad that I found a use for it. It really is not my style or color. I think my Uncle will enjoy it...he has a pink log cabin quilt on his bed...and its getting pretty thin.
