Holice, I recognized your quilt from a video I watched last night on Quilters TV. I learned a lot from that video and wanted to thank you. I especially like those three basic rules of quilting, then forget about the quilt police. LOL

I just move my needle over for my scant 1/4 inch. Maybe someday I'll get a foot.

I don't think there's such a thing as a perfect 1/4" foot unless you keep
using the same fabric, same thread and press your seams the same way all
the time. The other day I noticed I had to move my needle twice. First,
because I was using fabric from Connecting Threads which is a bit thicker
than Moda (for example), then had to move the needle again when I started
pressing the seams open. Having said that, I still like my 1/4" foot for the
guide. Maybe they should call it guide foot intead of 1/4". ;)
