I have a 6" x 12" Omnigrid ruler that I really like using. Just the right size for lots of things. Good luck in finding another Fiskars.

I, too, am a great fan of Creative Grids rulers because of the non-slip dots on the back. I love the 6.5 X 24.5 ruler. I also saw a short video presentation about the green flourescent rulers that QuiltnNan mentioned and was amazed at how easily one could see that the line was on the exact top of the edge of the fabric, no matter what color the fabric was. My only problem is that the link to the larger ruler brings you to the site where you can see the magnificent ruler, but, when you click to order one, you are directed to an error page.

I just saw that ruler at a local store here. It is $16.00. I can buy it and send it to you if you want. It is the Fiskars 6x12 inches
