I am needing some ideas for how to purchase coned thread or bulk thread of a good quality. Have used some from Connecting Threads, but had an over abundance of fuzz and lint. Anyone with suggestions?

I guess I'm not going to be much help because I really like Connecting Threads, especially for quilting. Have bought cotton cones at JoAnn's and it is tighter and my Pfaff likes it a lot. You might try that. LQS has one similar also.

I like Sew Fine by John Flynn and you can get it at Superior Threads. Their shipping is only 3.95. It is about 4-5 dollars cheaper than at the quilt shop.

These are all really great tips. Thank you. Is the coned thread at Joann's piecing thread?

I am on the Superior Threads bandwagon....just love the King Tut. Here is the link to their site so you can read all about their threads. Bob, the owner teaches classes all over and you can go to many of his links to learn all about threads and choose what is best for you.
