Can anyone tell me what fabric the labels are made out of? I really like the strength that they seem to have and wouldn't mind making some of my own. Thanks to whoever that can help.

I make my own out of a fabric I bought some years ago. It was going to be for backing but I fell in love with it and will not use it for anything else but labels. Here is one.

Here is a link to the forum posting about the Downy quilts:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-27514-1.htm

I ordered one of the kits to be sent, so I really don't know yet how their labels are made.

These are commercially made, woven labels.
I have seen some similar on the net, but I don't remember where I saw them, sorry.

Why don't you ask the people at their website? I know what you are speaking of. You might want to try some photo fabric for your labels. That is tough stuff.

I use muslin and fabric pens to design my own labels
(usually has a cat in the corner).

Just dug my kit out so I could check the label. I'm taking the kit with me to my retreat next month, love that it's all cut when it arrives!

The label looks like what is put in clothing, woven of nylon would be my guess.

Here's one I found http://www.arrowtextiles.com/docs/sm...s-accepted.php Made me laugh, this is their link for "small orders," which would cost a minimum of $300!!
