At first, I didn't understand what you mean. But now that I see the other picture, I get it. Instead of "turning" the blocks, you just place them differently in the layout. I guess I needed the visual! :D

Thank you for the links and pattern directions. I have to make 3 baby quilts and this is a great idea for one of them, maybe two!

For some reason I missed the heart quilt above when I read this thread yesterday. It is so cute! I think I'll have to make one for my Secret Sister for Valentine's Day. And one for myself!
