I have small circles that i want to applique
When I finished basting the edges, the circles seem to buckle?
I have ironed them, but they are still buckled
Should i remove the basting before hand applique?
Help

I always use a stabilizer on the back. Did you do that?

You also might be pulling your basting threads too tight. Just a thought.

I always use a template for my circles, leave it in while basting and spray starch...you can use plastic lids or card board cut out templates. Takes a little practice but gets easier the more you do them.
hope that helps.
