Does anyone know a good quilting design to do around a Dresden Fan?

I echo quilted around mine. I'm open for new ideas though.

I was going to say echo quilting. Or maybe find some sort of design that fits into a triangular shape and do that in the corners of the block. Or both...echo quilting on the inside of the Dresden and the corner idea on the outside?

This is just one done....I now have the sashing on and corner stones.
There are going to be 4 of them for a wall hanging. I have the "plates" all on with fusible and then did a blanket stitch around the plates. Do you think it will pucker at all?

I loved doing it. I have a studio accucut die for this. Cut them all out in 5 minutes!
