Dresden Plate Quilt block ?
I want to make a Dresden plate quilt with my Dresden plates having the rounded tops. I have templates, but was looking for easy ways to turn under the seam allowance on the rounded part. Would appreciate any tips.
Thanks

I made a dresden plate with rounded top blades and I used the english paper method. It was a fun thing to do as I sat watching TV or traveling to made the blades. Good luck on your search but I really like the way Tartan suggested.

I used a rounded piece of glossy cardboard for the rounded tops, made slits to ease the bulk, put a tiny dot of Elmer's washable glue on each tip, then ironed it to the glossy side and pressing dries that little bit of glue so you can pull it off the cardboard in a few minutes & press it on its own to sharpen the curve.
